Peter Hanson shot a 2-under 68 Saturday and took a two-stroke lead going into the final round of the SAS Masters.
Hanson, who has won only once in 174 European Tour starts, bogeyed the third hole but posted birdies on Nos. 5, 7 and 16.
"I played well on the first nine holes, but I missed a few fairways on the last nine," said Hanson, whose only win was the 2005 Spanish Open. "I must drive the ball better (Sunday).

Defending champion Lorena Ochoa shot a 4-under 68 to take a two-stroke lead during the suspended second round of the Canadian Women's Open on Friday.
Ochoa, the winner last year at Royal Mayfair in Edmonton, Alberta, had a 10-under 134 total on the tree-lined Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club course.
Australia's Katherine Hull matched the course record with a 65 to join Taiwan's Yani Tseng, the McDonald's LPGA Championship winner, at 8 under.

Peter Hanson and Nick Dougherty shot 4-under 66s for the second straight day to share the halfway lead in the SAS Masters on Friday.
Hanson, trying to become the first Swede to win the European PGA Tour event since Jesper Parnevik 10 years ago, had a bogey-free round on the Arlandastad course north of Stockholm.
Dougherty, who was runner-up last year, had two bogeys. But the Englishman finished strongly with birdies on three of his last four holes.

Bob Heintz has always wanted some fans to follow him around the course for a change. For one day anyway, he got that kind of attention, even if it took some ribbing - and a remarkable start to the Wyndham Championship.
Heintz and rookie Martin Laird matched the course record Thursday with 7-under 63s at Sedgefield Country Club to share the lead after the first round of the PGA Tour's last event before the start of the FedEx Cup playoffs.

Ochoa, the winner last year at Royal Mayfair in Edmonton, Alberta, hit all 18 greens in regulation and was in the rough only once in sunny, calm conditions on the tree-lined Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club course.

Nick Dougherty holed a 142-yard wedge shot for eagle Thursday on his way to a 4-under 66 and a three-way tie for the lead in the first round of the SAS Masters.
England's Dougherty, runner-up in this European PGA event last year, was tied with Peter Hanson of Sweden and Pedro Linhart of Spain after a wet and windy round at the Arlandastad course north of Stockholm.
Dougherty didn't have a bogey, and his wedge shot went straight in on the par-4 12th hole for the shot of the day.
