Karrie Webb shot a 66 Friday and shared the lead at 13 under with Sophie Gustafson (65) after two rounds of the Ginn Tribute.
Annika Sorenstam also had a 66, her lowest score in six career rounds at RiverTowne Country Club, and moved from a tie for 60th Thursday into a tie for eighth.
Sorenstam was seven shots behind, but at least she still was part of the tournament that she hosts - something that looked doubtful midway through Friday's round. Read the Full Story Here

Michelle Wie shot a 3-under 69 Friday to keep pace at the Ladies German Open, where she was tied for sixth three shots off the lead after the rain-delayed second round.
The 18-year-old from Hawaii bogeyed her first hole but recovered with a stretch of three birdies in four holes midway through her round and a fourth birdie later at the Golfpark Gut Haeusern course northwest of Munich. Read the Full Story Here

Scott Strange shot a 5-under 66 and extended his lead to four strokes Friday after two rounds of the Wales Open, advancing without Padraig Harrington who missed the cut.
Strange, a 31-year-old Australian, had a 1-under 34 on the back nine of the 2010 Celtic Manor Course, six strokes worse than his first round, when a 63 left him with a one-shot lead.
Harrington struggled with his putting and his 3-over 74 gave him a 36-hole total of 2-over 144, three strokes shy of the cut. Read the Full Story Here

Amanda Blumenherst and Stacy Lewis each won two matches Friday to help the Americans take a 4-2 lead against Great Britain & Ireland at the Curtis Cup.
The United States has not lost these amateur matches since 1996, and they got off to a good start in miserable weather on the Old Course at St. Andrews, needing a few putts to go their way at the end. Read the Full Story Here

Lorena Ochoa's uncle has died, just days after the top-ranked player withdrew from the Ginn Tribute to be with him in Mexico. Pedro Ochoa was 73.
Ochoa traveled to Guadalajara, Mexico, on Tuesday after withdrawing from the tournament.
"Her uncle, Mr. Pedro Ochoa, brother of her father, Mr. Javier Ochoa, died ... due to an illness he had for a while," according the LPGA Tour star's Web site on Friday.

Scott Strange opened a four-stroke lead with a second round 66 Friday at the Wales Open and Padraig Harrington looked likely to miss the halfway cut.
Strange, a 31-year-old Australian, made four birdies on the front nine of the 2010 Celtic Manor Course, then birdied the last hole to complete a 1-under back nine of 34. He shot 28 on that nine in his first round 63 which gave him an overnight one-stroke lead over Edoardo Molinari. Read the Full Story Here

Annika Sorenstam's name is everywhere at the Ginn Tribute except where she wanted it most - near the top of the leaderboard after Thursday's opening round.
Sorenstam's even-par 72 left her seven shots behind co-leaders Karrie Webb and In-Kyung Kim, and tied for 60th at RiverTowne Country Club.
