Sunday, November 25th, 2007
Australia's Aaron Baddeley outlasted Sweden's Daniel Chopra to win the Australian Masters on Sunday, saving par on the fourth hole of a playoff after hitting his tee shot into the trees. Baddeley chipped to 8 feet on the fourth extra hole - the 18th - and made the putt. Chopra, who made several clutch putts in regulation and in the playoff, dragged his par putt wide from a slightly shorter distance, giving the Australian the win. "I felt pretty good about that chip.

Weekley, Slocum lead noisy World Cup

Friday, November 23rd, 2007
For a self-declared "redneck" from the Florida Panhandle, Boo Weekley is finding this week's World Cup of Golf in China both baffling and rewarding. Policemen salute as players approach the tee. The sport's etiquette is abandoned as fans jostle for space and photos, mobile phones ring constantly and golf carts buzz around everywhere. "I mean, don't know if the Chinese crowd understands," Weekley said. "There's a lot of movement out there, a lot of talking." Welcome to golf, Chinese style.
