Saturday, June 30th, 2007
Angela Park knocked a dozen players out of the U.S. Women's Open, and all it took was a pair of late putts. Park's shots - a 10-footer on No. 8 and a winding 20-foot on No. 9, both for par - closed out her 69 in the second round and gave her a two-shot lead. "I just looked at it and I said, 'OK, it's going to go left-to-right and then right straight to the hole,"' Park said of her putt at No. 9. "I hit it and it went in, so keep it simple.

Friday, June 29th, 2007
Brett Quigley held a two-shot lead at the Buick Open just after the turn and his mind drifted to an easy stretch of Warwick Hills. A couple holes later, a huge oak tree taught him a lesson. Quigley scrambled to save par at No. 13 - the second-easiest hole - and that contributed to him losing the lead Friday and finishing the second round in a three-way tie with Jim Furyk and Kenny Perry at 10-under 134. "I tried to force the issue," Quigley acknowledged.
