Simon Dyson of England shot a 4-under 67 Thursday to take a one-stroke lead after the first round of the Estoril Open. Dyson, who won the Indonesia Open and the KLM Open in 2006 and finished third twice this season, eagled the 16th hole and also had three birdies. Scotsman Stephan Gallacher, Englishman Ross McGowan and South African Louis Oosthuizen all had 68s.
