Allen Doyle shot a 5-under 67 in windy conditions Saturday to take a one-stroke lead over Bobby Wadkins and U.S. Champions Tour newcomer Mark O'Meara after the second round of The ACE Group Classic.
Doyle, an 11-time winner on the 50-and-over tour, had a 12-under 132 total on the Quail West Golf and Country Club course. O'Meara, making his second Champions Tour start, shot a 68, and Wadkins followed his opening 64 with a 69. Read the Full Story Here

American Nicholas Thompson beat Canada's David Morland IV on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff Sunday to win the New Zealand PGA golf championship.
Both players shot four-under-par final rounds of 68 to be tied at 280, eight-under-par, after 72 holes at the Clearwater Resort course. Thompson made par on the first playoff hole while Morland made bogey out of a greenside bunker, giving the American his first win on the Nationwide Tour. Read the Full Story Here

Stacy Prammanasudh shot a 4-under 68 on Saturday to hold off Jee Young Lee by a stroke and complete a wire-to-wire victory in the Fields Open.
The 27-year-old Prammanasudh had five birdies and sealed her second LPGA Tour title by two-putting for par from 20 feet on No. 18 to finish at 14-under 202.
Lee closed with a bogey-free 68.
Prammanasudh, (pronounced PRAH-mahna-sood), was sharp and steady all day, never allowing anyone to catch her. Read the Full Story Here

The streak is alive at the Accenture Match Play Championship.
And it belongs to Geoff Ogilvy.
With so much attention on Tiger Woods' bid for an eighth straight PGA Tour victory, Ogilvy streaked into the championship match Saturday by winning his 10th and 11th in a row in a strong defense of his title. The U.S. Open champion has been so dominant that he hasn't played the 18th hole since a practice round Tuesday.

One day after Tiger Woods' streak ended, two others resumed Saturday in the Accenture Match Play Championship as Geoff Ogilvy and Chad Campbell surged into the semifinals.
Campbell made it four straight rounds going the distance, holding off Stephen Ames for a 1-up victory that put an American in the semifinals for the ninth straight year in this World Golf Championship.
He'll face Ogilvy, the defending champion who won his 10th consecutive match by easily beating Paul Casey of England. Read the Full Story Here

Ryan Howison shot a two-under 70 to reclaim the lead in the third round of the New Zealand PGA Championship on Saturday.

No matter how you define a winning streak, it's over for Tiger Woods. Nick O'Hern lost a 3-up lead with eight holes to play but posted par on the 20th hole Friday at the Accenture Match Play Championship to stop Tiger's bid for an eighth straight PGA Tour win.

American rookie Michael Letzig shot a four-under-par 68 Friday to take the clubhouse lead at the New Zealand PGA golf championship after a rain-interupted second round.
Letzig, with a seven-under two-round total of 137, held a two stroke lead over New Zealand's Phil Tataurangi (68) among players in the clubhouse after completing their first two rounds. Read the Full Story Here
