Goosen wins Qatar Masters by one stroke
Retief Goosen eagled the final hole Sunday to beat Nick O'Hern by one stroke at the Qatar Masters.
The South African, who shot a 3-under 69 in the final round and finished the tournament at 15-under 273, had not won in more than a year.
"It feels good to be the champion after such a long while," said Goosen, who won his 32nd tournament. "This win sets me up nicely for the rest of the season. It is a good feeling to have an event so early in the new season.
