England's Justin Rose tasted tournament victory for the first time in four years Sunday, holding his nerve and his overnight margin to win the US$1.15 million (?900,000) Australian Masters by two shots.

They don't call Fred Couples "King of the Skins" for nothing. Couples, a five-time Skins Game champion, got off to a fine start toward a sixth title on Saturday, when he won six holes (skins) worth a total of $175,000. England's Justin Rose, winless in four years, shot a 4-under-par 68 Saturday to take a two-stroke lead after three rounds of the Australian Masters at Huntingdale.
Rose, who trailed second-round leader Aaron Pike of Australia by two strokes going into the third round, has a 13-under par total of 203.
Raphael Jacquelin of France (67), former Australian Open champion Greg Chalmers (68) and Pike, a 21-year-old amateur who shot 72 Saturday, are tied for second at 11-under 205. Read the Full Story Here

Despite all of her abilities as a golfer, Michelle Wie continues to have lots of trouble making the cut in men's events. Wie ended her run Friday at the Casio World Open in Japan by shooting an 8-over 80, which put her just one shot ahead of last place.

Michelle Wie made a disastrous start in her latest bid to make the cut at a men's golf tournament Thursday, shooting a 9-over-par 81 in the first round of the Casio World Open.
Wie's troubles started early at the par-72 Kuroshio Country Club. After teeing off in light rain on No. 10, she bogeyed the par-4 12th hole and had four straight bogeys from the par-3 14th.

Just another day in paradise. Tiger Woods rallied to win the PGA Grand Slam of Golf for a record seventh straight time Wednesday at Poipu Beach, Hawaii, closing with a bogey-free 6-under 66 to beat Jim Furyk by two strokes.

Before the Grand Slam of Golf got under way on Tuesday, Tiger Woods said his pick to win it was Jim Furyk. Well, so far Jim Furyk is making Tiger look pretty smart. Furyk shot a 5-under 67 Tuesday for a one-stroke lead over U.S. Open champion Geoff Ogilvy. Tiger is three back.
